Conditions of the competition:
Competition is open to public
Participants are divided into various categories
1. Category Competitors born in 1995 and younger.
Programme duration: 6-8 minutes.
2. Category Competitors born in 1993. and 1994.
Programme duration: 8-10 minutes.
3. Category Competitors born in 1991. and 1992.
Programme duration: 10-12 minutes.
4. Juniors Competitors under the age of 18.
I phase - Free choice programme with the length of time until 15 minutes, polyphony (baroque)
II phase - Free choice programme with the length of time until 15 minutes with an original composition written for accordion.
5. Seniors Competitors from the age of 18 and older.
I phase - Programme with the length of time of 20 minutes performing a polyphony (baroque) and a Scarlatti sonata by choice.
II phase - Programme by choice with the length of time from 20 till 30 minutes performing an original composition written for accordion.
6. Chamber music
a) competitors under the age of 18.
Programme duration: 6-8 minutes.
b) competitors from the age of 18 and older.
Programme duration: 10-15 minutes.
7. Non-standard ensembles
a) Competitors born in 1987. and younger. (until the age of 18)
Programme duration: 8-10 minutes.
b) Competitors born before 1987 and older (from the age of 18 and older)
Programme duration: 10-15 minutes.
8. Entertainment & virtuosi music
No limits in terms of age.
Programme duration: 10-12 minutes.
NOTA BENE
- The programme should be consisted of at least one original composition (composition exclusively written for accordion).
- Soloist competitors are about to play without reading the written music.
- Chamber music competitors and non standard ensemble competitors can play the music using manuscripts.
- Before playing any concert, the jury should be provided with three copies of manuscripts (music notes) that will be taken for the purpose of archive.
